I always wonder about the few good Football players getting fewer all the time...

Yes, that is a big problem. Mostly, the good players like Davor Sukar, Marco Vorbeck or Remi Gaillard getting older, retire or they have enough money so they don't have to play anymore.
And the pressure to succeed is very high in soccer, no doubt.

The son of a workmate had played some month at the well-known football club Dynamo Dresden (Juniors), but it was to hard an also with the freetime etc. so he quits the team and plays now for its old football-team.

I must admit to be rather bad in it and to have only ample knowledge of Football as such.
I like to Watch it but keep on forgetting Names and such.
Even in this far-away corner , Heard about Dynamo from someone from Dresden.
I have seen Dresden in 1994 when I did a Germany "tour" on a Bike ..Four Weeks from Stralsund down South to Regensburg.

I Believe what you're workmate is doing is very positive sharing his experience and knowledge with the Youngsters who, if luck wishes it, will be the stars of tomorrow.
Lets be honest , We had our chance.
