HOLY EMPIRE OF REUNION

Esteemed Sirs and Madams,
Reunion is a member of the OIK, and has been on this great map for a long time. Our micronation was founded in 1997, and was born bilingual (english/portuguese). Our chancellery has been very active since then (http://www.reuniao.org/chancellery) and that is why we were very much happy to join the International Map.
We were members of UVNO back when the days Andres Chilavert was the president of that great institution.
Reunion has many english speaking members but few who speak german. However, we have always managed to have a representative there at the UVNO, and Reunion really values interaction with germanophone micronations, and wants to establish relations with everyone who so desires. We never agreed to being excluded from that organization, but that probably happen in a moment where we did not have a representative in this great body of nations.
This is why we want to re-join OIK, interacting with everyone here. We were away for so long we don't know everyone anymore! We want to introduce ourselves again into the germanophone micronational world. I am certain we can cooperate a lot with you, and the other way around too!
We will have myself as an english speaking liaison and probably a secondary ambassador who will be able to understand german fully, who'll be Mr. Giancarlo Zeni, one of our most respected diplomats. Whenever he is not around, I will be here observing, and asking questions. Maybe I will end up learning german !
We hope to be welcomed and start some great relationships here, and also to resume old ones!
